And Dollars to Deutchmarks, and pennies from heaven

O, hello down there!

Just another day, walking the catwalk of every day life.......!
G has been doing manly things, like painting bits of the front of the house, and he suggested we do some pix on top of the scaffolding.....
The sky is grey, grey, grey, but it's still warm in these parts!
Apparently that will change tomorrow, we'll be looking at a temperature drop to 13 degress, from the 21 degrees it is currently....daylight saving ends this weekend...it's all going downhill fast!

That's a native cabbage tree I'm clutching!
The cats climb this one to dance upon the roof in the moonlight.
And many other occasions.

Frock-opshopped
belt-opshopped
Sunglasses-early 80'stastic, opshopped
Shoes-Trade Me
Handbag-"so obviously Rex", from a vintage garage sale
Headpiece-Wildfell Hall
Beads-from the beautiful Lucy
Brooch-barely seen, from gorgeous Curtise

I didn't know you had a blue Rex. I love it. You are very adventurous climbing on the scaffolding for photos, especially in those heels.

Just gorgeous darling, but please be careful climbing in those shoes!! Oh, thanks for the reminder about daylight savings ending....I wondered when it was going to happen :-)

Love that dress Helga. Prancing in heels on a scaffold is risqué business, but you sure do do it well I might add. Yay for doing jobs around the home, your wee cottage is gorgeous .

We share the same gray sky today and your beautiful frock makes me need more and more colours! I really enjoy this 'Wuthering Heights' photoshoot and my favourite picture is the one with the cabbage tree!
Lots of love

Have you gone all high definition today Helga? There's something different about your pics but I'm not sure what it is, you look very gorgeous anyway and I love your own personal catwalk. We actually have a blue sky here, hurray! but it's still pretty cold. Not sure if it's winter coat or super-duper winter coat weather today. xx

We've got the scaffolding up too (fixing our garage) but I am way to clumsy to model on it, would fall to my doom lol!!

I was thinking what Joan said - have you used an effect on your pics? They look different, but I am not tech-savvy enough to know what you're done... But I know I like it! And I LOVE the floaty gorgeousness of your dress, and the notion of you cavorting on the scaffolding, looking down on the mere mortals below (err, G, that would be you, love!)
Fabulous shoes, bag and headpiece, of course.
Are you ever tempted to join the kitties dancing on the roof in the moonlight?! xxxxx

Aah Helga, your pictures never cease to cheer me up...I am actually looking forward to the chillier weather, but it won't stop raining here...Another thing I am looking forward to is inspiration from you since dressing for the colder months can be challenging...What are your cold weather must-haves? xxx

Oh Helga that dress looks marvelous on you! I love the should/chest ruffle and the print of it.

Our neighborhood cats hang out on our next door neighbors roof. It makes Ridley jealous.

love the dress... but if i know g-man i'm pretty sure he had an ulterior motive... like looking up discreetly from under the scaffolding!

Ok, I'm obsessed with you on scaffolding..there, I said it. :D This frock is DELISH; I adore the neckline/ruffles. The sunglasses/REX/shoes are fab, too!

Enjoy what's left of the warmth. I always have to remind myself that we're reversed. :) I'm currently sporting my first sunburn of the season. You'd think I'd know better. XOXO

Pennies from heaven or Helga from heaven? I'm not sure, but you do look heavenly. I love you in that dress, you look positively scrumptious!

When you said about the DIY I didn't realise it was quite so mammoth and manly. Is there no end to your G's talents? What a pair you are.

'The cats climb this one to dance upon the roof in the moonlight. And many other occasions.' Hilarious!! xxxxxx

I had never heard of the NZ cabbage tree! I rather like it. You look good next to it and on metal, in those heels and that dress..... with the wind shwooping your frills. Oh what a thrill... Helga you are best!

What a beautiful floaty and very pretty dress miss Helga, perfect for a beautiful wee fairy like you to flit around in up high.
Hope you are having a wonderful week.

That dress is absolutely gorgeous, you vision of sexy floataciousness! You deserve to be on a catwalk every day, maybe leave that scaffolding erected (oh, err)for future action shots?
I Rather like that cabbage tree and can just imagine the cats shimmying up it in a manic fashion.
That's a big drop in temperature. It's been a balmy -2 here today but at least the sun's been out!
Love you! xxxxx

What no nicker shot???? I actually thought you were going to perform some gymnastics up there, bit of beam work with a dazzling dismount. I will score you a ten anyway!! Yes day light savings is going, but I guess we have had a brilliant summer so we should let the northern hemisphere peeps have some of it. As long as it returns in December I am all good with it going.
